This investment stands 32 metres high and features 11 multicoloured silos, making it not only a manufacturing powerhouse but a striking new industrial landmark in the region. 

As Greece’s leading paint supplier and a major player in construction materials, Vitex has built Chromopyrgos as a state-of-the-art vertical manufacturing hub. Spanning 1,800 square metres across multiple floors, the facility operates two fully automated mortar production lines equipped with top-tier European filling and packaging machinery, alongside an advanced palletising unit capable of handling up to 1,000 bags per hour.

To support this next-generation environment, Vitex has deployed the latest version of COREbeat across its entire machinery fleet at Chromopyrgos. COREbeat is now operating at the heart of the plant’s maintenance strategy, delivering continuous vibration and equipment health monitoring in real time. The platform’s advanced machine-learning algorithms continuously learn the unique “beat” of each machine, and detect even subtle deviations that may indicate emerging faults – allowing maintenance teams to act before failure occurs.
