September Kick-off: Our Third Blood Donation Drive

Coming back to the office after a fully remote August usually means spending the morning catching up with beloved colleagues on summer holidays. On our very first day back together, our team rolled up their sleeves (quite literally) for our third company blood donation drive!

So, we kicked off September with the medical team from the General Hospital of Athens Korgialeneio-Benakeio Hellenic Red Cross in our offices. After a rich breakfast, our colleagues stepped up and did their part, by donating blood - adding to a milestone we're super proud of: across our three drives so far, we've now helped save over 150 lives.

The units go on to help patients at the General Hospital of Athens Korgialeneio-Benakeio, and thanks to our blood donors' association, the same reserve is there for our own colleagues and their families whenever the need arises.

Solidarity is easy to talk about, but it really just comes down to looking out for people closest to us. Having a company blood reserve means we're quietly backing each other and our families up, while also taking a bit of pressure off the hospitals. It’s simple, practical teamwork.

This is our third drive now, so we're officially calling it a tradition. With everyone finally back under one roof, doing something properly useful felt like the best way to kick things off.
