CORE Innovation Centre at ETCEI 2025!

A two-day event dedicated to AI, intelligent systems, and emerging technologies.

The Emerging Tech Conference “Edge Intelligence” (ETCEI 2025) — a premier gathering of experts, researchers, and industry leaders exploring the latest advancements in AI at the edge, intelligent systems, smart energy, and innovation management — took place on 24–25 October 2025 at the University of West Attica in Athens. The event was proudly hosted by HETiA.

Representing CORE IC, Ioannis Meintanis and Maria Lentoudi attended the conference to engage in networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration, showcasing CORE IC’s commitment to innovation and its active role in the Twin4Twin Horizon EU project

A highlight of the participation was Ioannis Meintanis’ presentation of the poster titled “A Methodology and Replication Roadmap for Designing Digital Twins in Additive Manufacturing” during the Parallel Poster & Paper Presentations session, where he showcased groundbreaking research carried out within the Twin4Twin Horizon EU project.

Finally, our Twin4Twin partner from SCCH, Michael Mayr, presented the paper “An Integrated Digital Twin Architecture for Laser Powder Bed Fusion Processes: Fusing Physics-Based Simulations with AI” during Session S2.3: Intelligent Devices, Circuits & Architectures.
