About the company
CORE Innovation Group is an Athens-based technology company specialising in Industry 4.0 solutions. We develop AI-powered tools for predictive maintenance, energy management, and digital transformation, working with industrial clients across manufacturing, mining, process industries, and critical infrastructure.
CORE Innovation Group is the main company. CORE Innovation Centre (CORE IC) is our dedicated research arm: a private non-profit organisation that focuses exclusively on EU-funded R&D projects and industrial research.
We work primarily with manufacturing, process industries, mining, energy, and critical infrastructure. If your operation generates data and relies on machines, there is likely something we can do together.
Both. COREbeat is our flagship product: a plug-and-play predictive maintenance platform ready to deploy. Beyond that, all our work is bespoke. We sit down with you, understand your specific problems, and build from there.
Our work spans IoT, Edge Computing, Cloud Computing, AI and Deep Learning, Digital Twins, Big Data, Energy Management Systems, and more. We don't lead with the technology, we lead with the problem.
We are always looking for great people. Check our Careers page for current openings.
COREbeat
Most factories fix machines after they break down. That is reactive maintenance. Predictive maintenance is the opposite: you monitor your equipment continuously and catch warning signs early, before a failure happens. The result is less unplanned downtime, lower repair costs, and longer machine life.
COREbeat is an end-to-end predictive maintenance platform built by CORE Innovation. It combines IoT sensors, Edge Computing, and AI to monitor the health of industrial equipment in real time, turning raw machine data into clear, actionable insights. Think of it as giving your machines a voice, and actually listening to what they say.
It works in three layers. First, a small hardware device called the beatBox is installed at critical machine points. It measures vibration, temperature, and operational data on-site. That data is then processed by AI algorithms that learn the normal behaviour of each machine and detect subtle shifts that signal a problem. Finally, everything is presented through web and mobile dashboards where operators can see machine health scores, receive alerts, and access AI-generated reports, all in one place.
COREbeat can be up and running in as little as two hours. It is designed to be plug-and-play, so no lengthy implementation projects, and no disruption to existing operations.
Most condition monitoring tools give you data. COREbeat gives you answers. The AI does not just flag anomalies - it explains what is likely causing them and what to do next. There is also a built-in AI agent you can actually have a conversation with: ask it about a specific alert, request a maintenance recommendation, or check on machine performance. Beyond that, COREbeat integrates with existing PLC systems, tracks OEE and energy use, and generates full incident reports automatically.
Based on deployments across our client base: 15 to 25% reduction in equipment failures, 10 to 15% lower maintenance costs, and 10 to 20% improvement in uptime. Those are averages. Some clients have avoided single failures that would have cost more than the entire platform.
Yes. COREbeat is live across multiple industrial sites in Greece and beyond, including VITEX, EYDAP, Tharsis Mining, Metlen Group, Halcor, and others. In documented cases, it has detected critical failures that standard maintenance procedures had completely missed.
Start by getting in touch. We will have a conversation about your setup, your machines, and what is costing you the most. If predictive maintenance is the right fit, we will show you a demo and walk you through what a deployment would look like for your specific operation. No commitment required at that stage.
SIRI
Yes. We are the only certified SIRI assessors in Greece. SIRI is a globally recognised digital maturity assessment framework, supported by the World Economic Forum, adopted by over 4,000 companies worldwide.
HORIZON EU
Yes – extensively! We have participated in 60+ EU-funded projects, securing over 30 million euros in funding. We work with partners across Europe including universities, research centres, and industry leaders.
We are always open to conversations about new partnerships and consortia. Get in touch via secretary@core-innovation.com.
GSF
The Greek Smart Factory is the first smart manufacturing hub in Greece. It is a collaborative ecosystem that brings together manufacturers, technology providers, and research institutions, giving companies of all sizes access to cutting-edge technology, expert knowledge, training, and funding opportunities, without having to navigate it all alone.
It is for manufacturers who want to modernise but are not sure where to start, for technology providers looking to test and validate their solutions in a real industrial context, and for anyone in between. Whether you are a large industrial group or a smaller company taking your first steps in digital transformation, there is a place for you in the network.
Before committing budget to a new technology or solution, you can explore and experiment with it in a safe, simulated industrial environment. The Greek Smart Factory helps you co-create demo projects that address your real challenges, so you can see what actually works before making any major decisions.
You can express your interest directly through the Greek Smart Factory page on our website. From there, the first step is usually an assessment to understand your current situation and where the biggest opportunities are.
CORE Innovation Days
CORE Innovation Days is an annual conference dedicated to Industry 4.0 - the first of its kind in Greece. It brings together professionals from manufacturing, mining, and process industries alongside researchers, technology providers, and policymakers to have honest conversations about digital transformation: what works, what does not, and what comes next.
Anyone working in or around industry who wants to stay ahead. Whether you are a factory manager, an engineer, a researcher, or a decision-maker trying to understand where technology is taking your sector. This is a room worth being in.
Most conferences talk about the future. CORE Innovation Days focuses on what is already happening: real challenges, deployed solutions, and the people who made them work. It is hands-on, honest, and built around actual industry problems rather than polished presentations.
Two so far. CORE Innovation Days #1 took place in January 2025 and CORE Innovation Days #2 in December 2025. CORE Innovation Days #3 is already on its way. You can express your interest here!
You can express your interest directly on our website and be among the first to receive the invitation for the next edition. Sponsorship and speaking opportunities are also available: get in touch at communications@core-innovation.com.
